Focus Manager does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data to external servers. All data generated by the extension (such as your focus settings, timer status, and distraction statistics) is stored locally on your device using the Chrome Storage API.

2. Permissions Usage

To function correctly, Focus Manager requires specific permissions. Here is how we use them:

• Storage: Used to save your preferences, focus mode status, and local statistics about blocked distractions. This data never leaves your browser.
• Alarms: Used to manage the focus timer and schedule automatic resets for your daily statistics.
• DeclarativeNetRequest: Used to block access to distracting websites (like social media) only when Focus Mode is active. We do not track your browsing history.
• Notifications: Used to alert you when a focus session starts or ends.
• Host Permissions: We request access to specific social media domains (e.g., facebook.com, twitter.com) solely to block them during focus sessions. We do not read or modify data on these sites.

3. Third-Party Services

Focus Manager operates entirely client-side. We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising networks.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the extension or the Chrome Web Store listing.
